question about driving between Qatar Saudi Arabia and UAE

hello everybody
i would like to know what is required for me and the vehicle (company vehicle) if i want to drive from Qatar to UAE through Saudi Arabia??? i'm an expat and have a Qatari ID. do i still need an exit/re-entry visa on my passport?? or i can use my Qatari ID to enter to Saudi and UAE without a passport??? what about the vehicle requirements?? do i need a special permit / visa to enter Saudi and UAE??? or an official letter from the company will be enough?? pls help me on this issue...thanks in advance...

you need a UAE visa if you want to drive and go there. You have to present the UAE visa to the Saudi Embassy, and with this they will give you a transit visa for you and your car. (and ofcourse all the members travelling with you). This visa will be valid for driving back from UAE to Qatar too. hope this helps...!
