The problem with this guys is when they retire and are no longer in demand at the place they originaly came from then they move to this place out here and sleep walk through their programmes.
Actually, he never lived here. just flew in for the debates and other occasional things.
he's not as good at TS but he's a lot better than some of the other people they tried to replace him with
I don't like the new guy on hardtalk. sumfin abt him is missin!
with you on that UkEng he did a pretty good job with that show...the new guy is alright too though...took a while for them to find a decent replacement after he left
The BBC fired him because he is in the retirement age, UK.
I hope he takes up his old job back on BBC as the presenter of Hard Talk!
Translation: We will miss you Tim.
Like many expats. made his money. had a good time. enjoyed the Sun. Found a young wife.... and moved on :O(
That sounds logical!
I heard his young gf has had enough of Qatar!
Not very sure, have to do bit more reading to try and understand what is going on.
I am a little confused here..
“An extraordinary ten-year boom is petering out in Qatar with the state’s large-scale gas-exporting infrastructure having been completed, leaving business confidence at its lowest ebb in years.”
Surely, since the gas exporting infrastructure is complete, there will be pure revenue generation and more money available..

What I don’t understand is how could the richest country in the world have money issues!
Thought he will after he signed up for The Outsider on Bloomberg TV India.
