New Restaurant in Town?

PITSTOP
By PITSTOP

Hey Good Morning All,

I've been away and it is good to be back. As much as I enjoy eating out when I am traveling, is as much as I get bothered by it when I'm back home. Why? Please don't ask. Its sad that I feel that way.

SO!!! I want to know what are the new places that opened up that offer good food and good service.

I hope I get some good feedback from all of you.

Have you dined in Asfahan? The decoration, ambiance, seating arrangement and food are great.

If you didn't like it, consider it my treat, I'd send you a check..:)

Ramadan Karim...

Salam

Of course yes its a big waste of money !

Even some 5* hotels doesn't cost much !

We just went there and ordered, after getting the bill i was just shocked seeing the price.

n ye, i drank the whole bottle even though i dont want to. ohh 20 bucks !! :(

Ya, Balhambar -- When the Wife of Late Sheikh Jaber Al Subah came to visit us, Mama invited her there thinking it would be a WOW place. The spices used in every dish was exactly the same. Although I don't remember the price, I'm sure you folks are telling the truth.

and SPEED, it isn't about eating new food all the time, just going out with my Hubby is nice .. I'm not much of a spender when it comes to food. I can manage with a Falafel Sandwich from Petra everyday for 2/3 riyals -- and I would be happy :)

something new :-D

rMs... Isn't this just waste of money? I prefer to to send money to feed some hungry/ poor people around us instead of just wasting QR.20 for 1 bottle of water which cost QR.1 in the market.

Even though people hardly drink 1 glass of water rest goes to trash.

Are U talking about the restaurant near that orry ? (Balhambar) ? yes.. good ambiance.. romantic style.. its a Lebanese rest.. price of course high.,.

1 Mixed grill kebab platter - 95QR - For 1 person

2.Mixed Fish platter 175 QR - For 1 person

3. Cost of 1 bottle of water - 20 Qr - So just figure it out ! ;-)

* Food not worth as well !

Asif thats the Al Hambra (or something like that). Very expensive, min cover was QR 75 per person last time I went. You will pay QR 110 for a small plate of meshawi. I dont mind paying but the food is nothing special.

Khazana is good .

Try the lemon lessy ( comes in a taquila glass) and the special greentea after the meal.

Khazana: Noted. I will let you know when I visit it and try it out. I gained weight in my trip and I need to kill it before it sticks to me for life. So, I'm back on my diet.

Where is Khazana?

And I never ate out at Souk Wagif. The crowd and traffic aren't attractive to me. Maybe this time I'll try to go.
