britexpat/miss mimi/ : Have you driven a Toyota Corolla before?

and if so, What you see are the main differences in the tow cars?

note: In terms of A-performance,B- strength,D-fuel consumption,E-space. etc...

Whichever one you like more. Service wise they would be about the same. The Air con is better in Toyota's, but that doesn't matter in North America.

I rented a Hyundai Elantra in the US. It was great.

Miss mimi: So if were buying a car in North America (Toyota Vs Hyundai) which 1 you‘d opt for?

By Miss Mimi• 5 Jun 2013 08:12
Miss Mimi

Hyundai in North America is fine, presumably their service people actually know how to fix their cars there.

I always had Hyundai's in Qatar and all I can say is there service center SUCKS!!!! It's also difficult to find even the simplest parts for them. Go with a Toyota.

Other than the greater resale value of Toyota cars what are the pros cons of Hyundai cars?

By DeadMan.• 5 Jun 2013 07:05
DeadMan.

Hyundai is no match for Toyota here in Qatar. After sale services, availability of parts, and resale value are the major differences.

Hyundai Elentra is for sure a good car, but i guess she would be better off with a Toyota as it has a good resale value and reasonable maintenance.

And again if u take a vote, am quite sure, 70% would go for a Toyota.

Well,....At the end its her choice, she should be happy with what she drives....wht u say!

The all new model from Nissan stable in GCC, Sentra deserves a look in that class I thought. Chevrolet Cruz is another good choice in the same class especially for a lady. Quite elegant and classy indeed. If the choice is between the two as mentioned then TC wins hands down though I don't consider it as a lady drivable car because of its dull handling.
