Be aware with the Doha Bank
Their online security system was very very bad
Their Customer care executive don't know anything just sitting there to give wrong information.
I waste lot of money and time to go different branches to collect my credit card.
They are very rash to give answers and recently online fraud happens to me and they are not responding also.
One of the waste bank in Doha is Doha Bank.
Please don't go for Doha Bank

How would my support mean anything, even if I were interested in doing so? Go to the Central Bank and file a complaint with the supporting documentation. They will proceed from there.
Milachrone-please explain why the nationality of the customer service agent is in any way relevant.
newjoinnow, not really torture. Having money, having a bank account and being free means that you are unlikely to suffer torture. There are many people around the world who are tortured and I doubt any of them are expatriate tax free workers.
The fraud is not your fault.
However, I find that customer service should be a 2 way thing. How do you speak to them? Do you smile and say hello? So many people around here are so damn rude to people in shops and banks etc.
Radius is right, these banks have been ripped off by expats for years, they have to be bureaucratic and cautious.
They have a dedicated customer service building and a clear written complaints policy.

Again, if you have what you feel is a valid complaint MAKE ONE formally with the Central Bank. No one here can help you - by complaining here you are risking a defamation charge (look it up in the Qatar legal code) and getting absolutely nowhere.

I love Doha Bank, have been with them for nearly 8 years, never a problem and always good service. The people I know who have been defrauded have all been travelling through the UK and used their cards in an ATM with a dodgy spy camera. You can't blame Doha Bank for that. they call me whenever I am abroad to check it is me using the card. If you don't find the Doha branches helpful, take a drive up to Dukhan on a Saturday morning. Our branch is lovely and the staff are very helpful.

Much of the banks was victim of run away loaners, whatever the nationality of that guys will reflect to others.
There is BAD & GOOD side of any bank...
If you feel the bank is not acting within legal requirements you can file a case with Qatar Central Bank. Be sure you have all your documentation ready in case it is requested.
The Central Bank will take action if your complaint appears to have merit - and any bank operating in Qatar will respond to a Central Bank enquiry promptly
for me it's the best bank, no charge for ATM unlike some other banks. they will eat your balance blood sucker like leeches. its base on my 15 years experience with doha bank. CHEERS!!!
Ok. What is the alternative? If you run a search you will come up with similar complaints for any bank here. So???
I just press poor service in all the feedback tabs placed front of the employees ... Sometimes 2-3 times in a row!
How knows Qnb is having shares in Db ?
I have visited two branches of Doha bank. Nobody even bother to tell me "have a seat" though there ware less than five customers during that moment.
Then i was waiting for my time, turning myeyes and saw that the deputy manager is not wearing shoes and keep the legs behind his table in his brave office..Lol.
I met the indian customer service agent. I explained what i want and he told me "better you go to QNB" (under his breath)...lol

Mechengineer1977: Is it? For mere QR. 50/- recovery, Doha Bank lodges Police complaint and thereby blocking of Exit Permit of Account Holder. OMG..it is really horrible to hear...
for 50 QR recovery , they will file your case to capital police and would effect your exit.
i agreed its a worst bank in Doha regarding for every thing ... i have got personal expr. as well
I have cancelled my Doha Bank-Lulu Master Card 75 days ago. Still my blocked amount of QR.3,500/- has not been released yet though they promised within 45 days at the time of cancellation.
Also, I cancelled my Click Card (for internet/online shopping card) and the unused amount has not been released yet even after 3 months period. Sure, it is damn waste bank. Most of the employees of Doha Bank do not exactly know the rules/procedures to explain.
If it is fraud that is also your fault you must be very carefull in every transaction..cheers
