Best Chocolate Chunk Cookie Recipe!

Do your homemade cookies come out hard? Too soft? Too sweet? Dry up the next day? Well fret no more; you have come to the right place.
Classic chocolate chip cookies are an art and those who have mastered it are very few. A heavenly bite of the crispy exteriors into the fudgy interiors alongside the soft chocolate chunks. There is always something new to learn about baking them, so to sum up this is the recipe that works est with me so far! This is a mix of different Recipes that I put together. Credits go to the authors of Baked: New Frontiers in Baking as I majorly follow their recipe 
RECIPE
2  cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Cadbury Chocolate chunks (2 per cookie)
Instructions:
Whisk flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl.  In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugars until they are smooth and creamy.  Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the eggs, one at a time, until they are fully incorporated.  Add vanilla and beat.

Add half the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until just incorporated.  Add the remaining flour mixture and beat until just incorporated. 

Cover dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.  
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Line 2-3 baking sheets with parchment paper (depending on how many cookies your dough yields).  Using a scoop or a spoon, portion out dough into 1/4 cup sized balls stuffing them with a piece of chocolate and topping them off with one. Place on baking sheets about 1 inch apart.  

Bake for 6 to 7 minutes, rotating the pans from front to back and top to bottom in the oven halfway through baking.  The cookies should be golden brown around the edges and just set in the middle.  

Remove pans from the oven and cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.  Transfer cookies to the rack using a spatula to finish cooling.  Store in an airtight containing for up to 3 days with a slice of apple in the container to maintain moisture.
