what you do when someone whom you used to love owes you money?

If you lend someone you love money for a long time, and later you stopped talking to each other. Then after sometime you needed money for some family issues, is it abnoxious/rude to ask for your money from this person, and if this person ignores your requesti, what will you say and do about it?

Its ur money ... asking for it is never rude ... just tell the person u need it and follow up. If the request is ignored become a pain in the wrong place and keep following up till u get it.

If you love that someone and the feeling is mutual then what's the problem in mentioning it over a call. A loved one will always understand your need. Its not a matter of your money or his/her money. Its a need and a loved one will not think its obnoxious.

It is your money and you have the right to ask for it. You should not be shy and as mentioned by Tb get the help of some common friends to act in between.
It depends how much. If you can let it go why bother with all the troubles? if its quite a large amount then ask your EX. Its your money, and if there is someone who should be be feeling awkward it should not be you.
