Is salvia divinorum legal?
Hello, just a quick question to for fill my curiosity... Is salvia divinorum legal? Apparently in the United States it's legal (in most states) and I was curious to wether it was here?
P.S. For those of you that have no clue to what salvia is, it's an herb that's a psychedelic.
Oh, and if you don't know the stone cold facts please don't claim things.
Thanks!
Dear QL members,
I've done my research in the past 2 days regarding this subject.
Salvia divinorum is a species of sage (the genus Salvia). There are approximately 1000 species of Salvia worldwide, but Salvia divinorum is the only vision-inducing species known. Salvia is a member of a very large family of plants known as the Labiatae. Because mint is a well-known member of this family, it is sometimes referred to as the mint family. Salvia divinorum makes a beautiful house plant, and it can be grown just for that reason, but most people who grow this plant are interested in its fascinating psychoactive effects.
I think we are talking about different species of salvia and with the facts I've gathered, I really can’t say if it's legal or not as it's not in many countries around the world.
Regret any inconvenience
