Good Samaritans.....Good Policemen!
I got flat tyre around half past 1pm today along the long road from Landmark Mall to Dafna area. These two Policemen, without any questions and hesitations, changed my car's tyre. I'm posting this so everyone will know that kindness regardless of race, religion, color, gender, profession, etc., will always prevail at times of emergency situations like this. May God bless them.
not sure either... but posting their pics doing kindness, i think, won't do them any harm. I gave them my callingcard, so if ever there will be any problem, I'm willing to face the consequences. But surely, I will stand firm on the reason why I posted it.
Glad you found some help, but how did they let you take their pics? or you just snapped it?
Salam
... I was locked out of my car outside the NEC, another friend of mine and 2 small children with us. We asked the police for help, we needed to pick our other kids up from school, locked out, could we please (at least!!!) use one of their mobiles as everything got locked in the car... after walking up and down for 20 minutes outside the car, staring inside, shaking heads, walking off again talking to other people and looking at us and ignoring us... was it not for the kindness of a person driving past lending me her mobile we would still be there 3 months later!!! And yes - those policemen spoke english.
Thank you to RAHA for coming to the rescue!!!
Only in Qatar!
Another "white ball" for qatari Police.
Mabrouk! :)
In Europe you'll get a traffic fine for "traffic obstruction" :P
I only met policemen like these in the last 16 years in Qatar!!
