Food Bank?

There are several folks in my office who receive fairly regular "care packages" of food items from home. Yes, we can eat it all, but perhaps there is a better use for this stuff? Is there a food bank or some charitable organization that feeds the hungry and less fortunate that could benefit from a food donation?
