Australian colleague of mine just got his license at the transport department. Eye test required, thats all! then take all the documentation to the desk pay QR250 and walk away with a new Qatari driving license.
nop no more, rules has changed, now you need to do a test in order to transfer your driving license. but the good thing is you wont be doing all the 3 tests. only the road test one and you got two only chances. goodluck.
and I am sure about what I am saying coz I hold U.A.E driving license and my wife holds American Driving license and they said Australians/Canadians/Americans/British used to transfer their D/L but not any more. the only chance to transfer your D/L is to be having GCC driving license.
The only thing to do is an eye test.
As long as u r an Australian Citizen you can transfer your license...you have to check with Muroor ...most probably that is a yes
