Do I need to give a christmas bonus?

My compound got together and collected money for all the workers (guards/maintenance etc) and gave it to them as a gift for the Eid after Ramadan. Do I need to give personally again for christmas? Of course I gave my own maid a large christmas bonus. I am talking about the guys who simply change my light bulbs in my villa and such.

Generally, one should follow the best practice of giving bonus is once a year.

If you would like to help very lower income paid servants, you can surely offer something in kind rather than in money, in short to avoid expectations during all festive seasons and regular habit.

Well, people who did a good job deserves to be given a reward sometimes, anyways it's X'mas, the season of giving, you already had the idea in mind, so if you have enough resources why not share your blessings.

No need, but if you are that generous you can. Don't give something that is against your will just for the sake of practice. Give heartily, as they say.

Though it is not an obligatory, if you are so kind enough and the persons deserve it go ahead and give them as much as you can.
