Shukran ya akhi puktoon!
Welcome :)
No more hijacking of the 'Most useful thread on QL'.
Thanks Osama for your efforts. Unmatched really...
Khanan, I was checking my ancestral tree and came to find that I am a direct decendant of Pathans, My great great grandfather was a Pustoon :)
what had Pathan done to you ? :/?
it is the same Eng.
jadoo: to avoid problems of not using English in the main forum, please use English letters only. Thanks
osama, what is Pathan in Arabic?
Just want to be careful of them in case!
Coz Arabs didn't have BOBcorn and BEBsi in the old ages
انا زاهب الى لولو لشراء الملابس
is this meat Fresh ?
Yes there are lot of English letters and sound that don't exist in Arabic language either and the notorious one is P?
Any reason why the Arabic language does not use this letter or sound?
I agree with emy on Z which is zin, and d is used for dal while th is used for dhal. In this case it is th which should be a dhal. So it is 'hathihi'
So as u can see there is more than 7 letters which doesn't exist in English, which makes it damn difficult to find out words which doesn't contain this 7 letters in order to post it in QL and don't let ppl to confuse
I will remind you with the Arabic Alphabets
Arabic => how to pronounce it in English (example)
Alef = A (Apple)
Ba = B (Book)
Ta = T (Tea)
Tha = TH (Thin)
Jeem = J (Gym)
Ha = NO ENGLISH synonym (its pronounced like the snake sound)
Kha = KH (Khaled)
Dal = D (Doctor)
Thal = th/Z (This)
Ra = R (Rose)
Zay = Z (Zebra)
Seen = S (Say)
Sheen = SH (Show)
Sad = No English synonym (it is similar to S)
Dad = No English synonym (it is similar to D)
Ta = No English synonym (it is similar to T)
Za = No English synonym (it is similar to Z)
Ain = No English synonym (it is similar to nothing)
Ghain = GH (but not exactly the same)
Fa = F (Fool)
Qaf = No English synonym (it is similar to Q / K)
Kaf = K (Kick)
lam = L (look)
Mem = M (Moon)
Noon = N (No)
Ha = H (Horn)
Wao = O (Wool)
Ya = E (Eat)
Finally even if I write it "TH" there will be more letters which is not there in English language and the only way to learn it is to listen to the teacher.
So again i will repeat what i said in the first day of posting this thread that this is just a thread to have an idea about some common used words and it will not be sufficient to learn the language properly.
but then you can three letters which can similar, including the letter that looks like a "b" with a dot on it..:)
nop its nt same as we arleady have "Z" in arabic is "ز" and the "D" with dot in arabic is "ذ" so we cannot pronounce both alphabets in same way.
I protest the one with the dot sounds like Z not TH..:)
thnax Emy for the clarification :)
I purposely used "z" instead of "th" coz there might be someone who will pronounce "th" as "TE Etsh"
there are 2 kind of "D: in arabic lunguage one is with dot and other without.. the one with dot pronouce as "TH" and without dot pronounce as " D ". thats is the different.
I will try this time. Next time I will leave it for others to reply.
1. ana dahib ila lulu lishera almelabis
2. I dont know the word 'hazehe' the rest is fresh meat
Yes, I was confused with Z and as said by emy if it was 'hadihi or hathihi' then there was no problem.
I was waiting for others to reply
Hazehe is hadihi guilt, may be you got confused with Z
plz use Hathehe instead of Hazehe .. as many people didnt understand the word. thanks
shall i answer??? let me give chance for foreigners ...
osamabawah thanks for helping others in learning arabic, tahts a great work.
1. Was going to post the same as Ukeng for translation in Arabic :(
