Two Qatari men pass away in glider accident near Al Khor

Two young Qatari men — Mohamed Saad Al Mohannadi and Yousef Bahzad — passed away in an accident while flying a glider near Al Khor, reported Gulf Times.
The newspaper, citing sources, said the two had been on a training cum entertainment flight when the light aircraft, which developed unspecified problems, crashed near the Al Khor Airport.
Behzad, who was a cameramen working for the Al Arabi Club Forum, is survived by two children — a son and a daughter. Al Mohannadi was employed with Sout Al Khaleej, a division of the Qatar Media Corporation.
The two friends were also ardent flying fans. We pass on our sincerest condolences to the grieving families.
