Two men arrested for theft
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) reported in its social media platforms that two Westerners were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department, coordinating with Capital Security Department and Airport Security.
The two Westerners had stolen a large amount of money from a lady from the car parking area of a major shopping mall.
One of the accused men was caught with the stolen amount immediately whereas the other man was arrested at Hamad International Airport while attempting to leave the country.
Both men were referred to the concerned authorities to complete the investigation procedures
