When can i re-enter qatar after Quiting my old job?please read the descrption before u answer this
Hello People,
I left Qatar on the month of Aug 2008 for my further studies in UK ,though my visa was valid till April 2009. (Note that I didn't cancel my RP before leaving Qatar coz it was a short notice from my university to do any move).
Now recently I got a job in Qatar by another employer and my former employer is not willing to give NOC. New employer tried applying for Business visa indeed it got rejected. so by rule when can I re-enter Qatar to pursue my job? plus I heard that legally by Qatari rule its 2 years from EXIT on my passport or my RP expiry date (i.e April 2009)... when I will be eligible to re-enter Qatar? is it on AUG 2010 or April 2011?... please advise on this matter..cheers..have a nice day
Thanks ppl for the advise..Terrible news anyways.. another one question can i check the status of my RP thru some Qatar Visa website or can I check thru Qatar Embassy in my country?..
If your visa got canceled in Aug’08 then can enter in Sep’10. Since not canceled when you left, it had already been canceled by your former employer or automatically by Feb’09 (depending on date of departure) as you have been out of Qatar for more than 6 months continuously. And if this is the case then you are eligible for visit visa to enter (I am not sure about business visa) and for employment visa only after Feb’11. Please note a point here, if your former employer filed a complaint against you, then you need to think about. If possible check with immigration (anybody is here in Qatar to do this for you) on your status by inquiring visa/RP or passport number.
It's 2 years from cancellation of visa, not exit, so you have to wait till next year.
