Nila, those days have gone, now most of the managers are realising how pathetic it would if they play foul games with their employees, once they are called in by labor dept., Be prepared with all documents and sue him and come back to QL with victory message.
Nilauto: There are several things you need to check first. Do you have a contract from that previous employer that has been attested by the labor office. If the answer is yes, then you can take him to the Labor Office. However, before proceeding to the Labor Office take the assistance of Human Rights Committee. They will try to get you your end of service benefits. If they do not succeed they will ask you to seek the assistance of the Labor Office. In case you don't have a contract you may still approach the Human Rights people and seek their guidance. You may be able to file a complaint at the Labor Office also against the employer. You can take all these steps if you have not already signed any document at your last company confirming you have collected all your dues.
Meatal, the plastic American manager do not pick the phone up and you are talking about favours?? Please do not encourage people not to talk about their rights.. You are so funny ..
