What is the document required to exit and return when going for a vacation or emergency leave?

Hi, on going for an emergency leave do I need to ask for an exit and re-entry permit even though I have my valid ID card with me and residence visa stamp on my passport.

ONLY exit permit. BUT just make sure that your visa and Qatar ID is valid before you return to Doha.

Oh yes you will need an exit permit unless your ID card reads as family visa. Just get hold of your HR department and they will take care of everything.
