What to do

Hi, I am due to fly to Doha on the 1oth April, My Husband is already working there and has his RP although he has only been there 8 weeks. I have been checking various websites to find out what is required for me to get a visa. I am British so I know I can obtain a visit visa on arrival but have read that I will require a return ticket is this right. We have already booked my flight with Qatar Airways but purchased a single journey ticket as I am not intending to return to the UK for some time and then only to visit.
What I need to know is if this imformation is right and also if any other type of visa is available within the 3 and a bit weeks before I fly.
Nice to hear another Sandy coming here, your husband can be your sponser, so you will syre get RP here.

Hi sandi,
On arrival you may get a tourist visa with a short term validity. Your Husband has to request the company that he is working for to arrange a visit visa for you which validity will be enogh for you to obtain a RP. Onother way is you to apply in qatari embvassy in UK so you can get multiple entry 2 years visa.
hey sandy hope to see ya when ya get here for coffee or somethin
life's too short so make the most of it, you only live but once.......
