What are the Requirements/ Procedure to extend personal visit visa?
anybody who are familiar with the procedures on how to extend a visit visa (type: personal visit)?
My husband is here for a one-month visa, and i want to extend it to another say 3-6 month visa (for family member). i heard that he has to go first to the medical center for a physical exam... need to know the whole process and what are the requirements for this concern.

Sorry anabanana...normally i start a new question but just want to add one small doubt if u dont mind??I am on Personal visit visa and I allready extended it for 1 month,now they are saying its not extendable again.My sposor is Brother in law and i have done my medical and my visa is valid till 2nd of jan-10.Is there any way I can extend it again for couple of months or any other ways to stay here???Would appreciate any advice.Many thanks
My husband who was on visit visa went for the medical with his original passport, visa copy, photo, passport copy of both mine and my husband.(This needs to show only if they ask). Once the medical will get completed,(if you have registered your mobile number in metrash, you will get an sms from them that your husband's report will be fine or not), after two to three days you can go directly to the immigration for the extension of the visa. No need to take the report by yourself. There they will ask you for how many months needed to extend the visa. Its upto you whether to extend completely for five months or per month. If it is completly, then pay 1000QR by card or 200QR per month. They will stamp the visa in the passport. Thats all my husband have done for his visa extension.

Just go with your passport to Medical, near Abu Hamour (new Industrial area road) have both passport copies with you (may not required),photos also (if you dont have they will take at the counter) pay Qr. 100/- and wait for the call for medical, after 2 days collect the report and go to main emigration and can be extended to another 5 months. monthly Qr. 200/-
