My friend and his wife stays here in Qatar with valid RP.
Their daughte is going to marry in India and later will fly to US, where the son in law is employed. On the way back to US, the couple would like to stay in Qatar for a week. Is it possible ? Do they have to do any chnage in the ticket ? ( they fly by Qatar Airways )

The only problem is the parents will reach Doha only on May 15th, and the couple starts on 17th. There is only 2 days gap to get the visit visa. Can they get within 2 days

Or is it advisable to get tourist visa by Hotel ?
what are the precautions one has to take, to avoid any sort of confusions ?

The time period is too less. He may not get a visit visa within 2 days.

Pls wait for some expert opinion - about the confusion whether it affects yoiur US visit
