Visit Visa

Hi,
Just wanted to check over this. I have taken up a new assignment in Doha. The employer says that i have to come first, obtain work permit only after which i can apply for wife's sponsorship and bring her. I understand this is normal and we have to abide by the rules.
My question is
> Is there a way my wife can accompany me if she gets a visiting visa; can the employer do that for me. Her brother stays in Qatar, so can he help her in getting visiting visa.
> If she accompanies me on visit visa, when i obtain her sponsorship through my workpermit, should she travel back to india and then come back again , or staying in doha this can be done.

Thanks
mp

no, she cannot obtain a visa on arrival. She cannot accompany you. You will have to come here first, to obtain your RP. And then if you meet the requirement, you can secure a visa for her.

my point is if she is a citizen of one of 33 countries, whose nationals are eligible for obtaining a visa upon arrival, she is good to accompany you.

Your Spouse can get a relationship visit visa sponsored by her brother, first u get it for 1 months and after that can be extended.

Once you get your RP you change her status on ur sponsorship.

As far as i know she has to exit and come back.

Good Luck..!!!
