Yes, Your sponsor requires the photocopy of your Degree to process a Business Visa. I got this visa three times and everytime I provided photocopy of my degree to the sponsor.

Not necessarily be required, I am often apply business visa for our visitors and never attached any degree certificate. Of course it all depends on the sponsor who apply the visa, probably they might ask you to produce a Bachelors degree if you are the one applying the visa.
