I've done my finger print on 16.05.2007. Until today still no news for my visa. When i called my agent..the answer i get is 'under process'. Is this normal for the system here? Realy regret because my holiday is coming and without THIS visa i cant go out.

Can anyone help me on this? Tq.

for newly-hired employees to get them to enter Qatar, because they are easier to process, i guess.. for me, i was issued a business visa but there's this piece of paper stating that a working visa is waiting for me in Qatar. i arrived in here July last year and got my passport back and ID around mid-October. goodLuck!

Under what type of visa did you came in ? Maybe, I might suggest my employer to apply for a business visa and then apply for a residence in Doha.

Thanks!

I arrived in Doha on the 1st of Feb 2006 and I got my resident visa on, hold on *checks passport*, 30th September 2006.

So, 8 months.

I am already alarmed !

Did you wait that long before you arrive in Doha ? Or was that the time you had to wait for your RP ( resident permit ) in Doha !

I share with you the same delay experience. I have been waiting for my visa since first week of june. I follow up with my employer and they say still under processing. Maybe something is causing delay on the Immigration Department.

It depends on your Company and their influence in the immigration dept. Normal case not more than 2 weeks.
