visa for my husband and my son
Good day! I'v got my working visa 2 weeks ago and i have already my QID. Also, I'll be 3 months here in qatar
this coming last week of April. I want to get my husband and my son who is now in the Philippines. Can it be possible to get them soon? Can I get them a family visa? What are the requirements and procedures? How many weeks to get a family visa? How many months they will give for a family visa? My husband is a bank employee in our place. Can he get immediately a job here? Pls. is anyone can help us. Thanks and your help is very much appreciated.
the thread was posted Thu, 12/04/2007 .and the minimum reqiurement for family .
of course not... minimum for the husband is 7500 EXCLUDING accommodation.
for the wife, not only 3800, even 7600 are not gonna help... it is very difficult for wife to sponsor her husband.. beside, you are saying 'single accomdation'.. it means she doesn't have a family status visa.. forget about it.. finf the Job and come here under the company sponsorship, what's the problem?

It was said by keshav that 3000 per month is good enough to sponsor husband.... is this law still applicable if wifes salary is 3800 + single accomdation provided by company and is a school teacher ?
I need more deatils regaing this topic as you have come cress this prob you can help me more please
My wife has got offer for more then 13K PM and family accomodation too.she is an engineer. So there wont be any problem in getting RP for me na?
A Wife can sponsor Husband and Son, no doubt about that. But you need to earn more than 4K-5K(not sure about exact Salary per month)
Hi Jao,

Visit Visa: If your husband secures work visa with Residence Permit [for a minimum period of 1 year], then he can sponsor his family [wife and kids only] provided his employer/sponsor gives no objection letter for your visit.
Residence Permit: Secondly, if you [family] wish to stay here on Residence Permit along with husband, then your husband should draw a minimum basic salary of Qrs. 3,000/- + Accommodation allowance or free furnished accommodation + No objection letter from sponsor/employer for family to join him + bank statement in proof of his salary + his position printed on his ID card [also plays important role] etc. to submit his application with Ministry of Interior. And it is finally to the discretion of Ministry of Interior's committee to qualify or disqualify his claim for Residence Permit.
Hope the above is clear. All the best
Hi Kashev Can you help me also....you mentioned about cut off levels of salary by a man to support his family set by Immigration Dept.. can you please tell me what are those cut off level as my husband has got a job offer in qatar but not a family visa as yet...Can he call me there? and on what salary range he should? be
I do not think your son can be sponsored by you. Still, you can obtain RP for your son through school/college authorities, I mean student sponsorship from educational institutions.
Good day! Thanks for the info. But I want to clarify if I can sponsor my son for a residence permit. Because i've got some info from others that i can sponsor my son for residence permit but not my husband. Also if my husband can have a work and have a working visa. Is it possible that i will not transfer my and my son sponsorship to my husband or there is a Qatari rules that a husband must sponsor his family? Pls. help me and thank you.
As far as my knowledge goes you can always bring your family [husband and son] on visit visa provided you draw a decent salary [above cut off level set by Immigration] as well your sponsor signs/issues No Objection Letter to Immigration Dept. stating your salary and position. Secondly, I do not think you can keep them here permanently on Residence Permit, because as per Qatari Rules, a male with sufficient salary and NOC can sponsor his family, but not a female. Hope you got some idea. QL members aware of Immigration procedures pls welcome to share your opionions and help Jao_2006.
