MY FIRST VISA APPLICATION FILED BY MY EMPLOYEER WAS REJECTED BY QATAR AUTHORITIES. MY QUESTION IS; WHATS THE POSSIBILITY OF APPROVAL FOR THE RE-APPLICATION HE FILED AND HOW MANY DAYS WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO WAIT , CONSIDERING THAT I DONT HAVE ANY DEREGATORY RECORDS. WHAT ARE THE REASONS WHY VISA APPLICATIONS ARE REJECTED?

Hi,

The Visit Visa will be initially for one month only & you have to submit it in the Immigration Office at Madinat Khalifa. You can follow up your visa application status on the moi website www.moi.gov.qa . You or your wife can print the visa from there too.

After your wife arrives in doha, you have to file a new application for renewal of visa for five months.

I suggest to start the procedure in the first week of her arrival as she has to undergo the Medical Test at Medical Commission beside Woqod Petrol Station on Industrial Area Road and CID clearance (Fingerprint) near Tata Showroom on Salwa Road which takes time - 3 to 5 working days, after that again you have to immigration office.

Hope this helps

recently i got visa for my wife and kid but those were residency visa, all affairs right from submitting applications to issuing of visa were done at labour deptt. near american hospital.

I am not sure if there is any thing different for visit visa.
