I have relatives coming over in March who are British citizens, and will obtain visa on arrival here. We are planning to obtain Umrah visa for them, and proceed by road to Makkah. Now, are any formalities required for them to come back to Qatar? Do they need to apply for a re-entry visa or anything like that? Please provide me with detailed procedures, if any.

YES! YOU NEED TO TAKE RE ENTRY APPROVAL FROM IMMIGRATION DEPT. AT THE TIME OF RENEW VISIT VISA AFTER MEDICAL, SAME TIME YOU CAN TAKE APPROVAL FOR RE ENTRY.
