Umrah Visa Opening for Private Vehicles -2015
Dear All,
I am planning for Umrah in Dec-2015 (Second/Third Week). Please share the information regarding the following points; as Some Umrah Agents are saying Visa open & some are saying still not open for Private Vehilces.
1). When Umrah Visas will be open for families travelling by their own Vehicles?
2). What will be the Umrah Visa charges for One person?
3). What is the Minimum Limit required for Qatar RP (As my Qatar RP will be Expire in Feb-2016/ Passport expire in 2019)?
4). Whether they are considering Qatar RP Validity or Passport validity?
5). What documents required at boarder (Medical fitness, Vaccination etc.) my Qatar work visa Title is Engineer.
Please share your experience about travelling by own car. As I have Hyundai Tucson-2012 car. Is this car is sufficient for travelling with my family (Wife & 02 Kids)?
Any family travelling on same above Schedule for Umrah can contact me, so we can plan to travel together?

@daudkhel78 : Saudi Immigration is not permitting GCC expats to enter Saudi in our personal cars ....you have to either travel by flight or bus....
Despite of confirming with the Saudi embassy prior to leaving for Umrah from Qatar I was sent back yesterday as they said that they have not received any official confirmation to let us in with our cars....
Why don't you do the easy thing and contact an agent, who can give you all this information and more ?
daudkhel78: If you would had read my earlier post of this morning, you would have learnt that the Saudi government has not yet begun giving permission for people to go for Umrah by one's own car. As for your other queries, the charges for Umrah visas vary from agent to agent but it is around QR 300 per visa. The Saudi government has already begun issuing Umrah visas. With regards to your vehicle, it is only you who would be knowing best the condition of your vehicle but there are certain things you must check before taking the journey whenever you are able to go on one.
No body knows when you would be able to drive your own car there ....................
