Travel during RP in Process; IMP PLZ ADVISE

.. you can come back and work for the company if they agree - have you asked them if they are willing to pay again for restarting the RP process from zero? Because that is what has to happen if you have to leave. If the company wants so, you can have your medicals and RP done in a week maximum. So the best is to start asking them the questions and stop wasting time if you are short on time to sort this out.

What do u mean by start from scratch; I still can come back and work for the company and apply again for RP???

How can expedite the process and get RP as soon as possible? I mean in few days?

... that if you travel whilst your RP is in process you have to restart everything from scratch when you get back. It happened to my husband who had to do business travel whilst his RP was being processed. They got the passport back and he travelled, when he came back everything had to start from scratch. You will have to check if the company you are coming to work for will allow you to do that - you need to check with them first.

Chris...suggest you to talk to the PRO of the Firm you are joining at.......

Certain places in Qatar RP process could be finished in 7 days or less (if all documents are ready, medical and fingur prints could be done in a day's time)!

its allowed to have a visit for certain nationalities...they take the visit permit from the airport, if you belong to one of these nationalities, u can come the time u want, once the RP is done, u can transfer ur visit visa to resident without the need to fly out of the country

If not in the country it is better to complete all important / urgent task b4 travel.

You can't travel till the process is complete....it generally takas a month around.

If in emergency; take your pp back and apply for another entry visa and go, no idea about the time frame in this case.
