Can i get a residency status in Qatar based on some investments? can anyone throw some light on this.

What do you mean by investments? Real estate or do you plan on investing in a business?

I know that if you buy property in some areas you are granted a residency visa and if you are a shareholder of a company you can have your company issue you a residency permit as well.
