I am shortly to commence a 6 week consultancy assignment in Doha, and have been advised that I need a tax exemption certificate. I have emailed the Ministry of Finance, but no response as yet. Can anyone advise me what is needed and where/how I should obtain it?

By the way which country are you from? Procedure differs from country to country.

You can go to the income tax dept and fill up a form to get teh certificate with nominal fee.
