I am an Indian working in Dubai in the IT industry & have been offered a decent position with a large firm in Qatar and am awaiting the Residence Visa since Mid Dec 07. Would appreciate to learn more on the following queries:
1. How long does it normally take for getting the Residence visa for self, family & kids?
2. How are the quality of accommodations provided by QP and its sister companies?
3. How is the quality of education in Indian schools?
4. Is it possible to drive in Qatar holding a UAE driving licence?
5. Are there any extra checks done while issuing visas for Indians which delays the process?
6. Any other points to be taken care will be highly useful.
