Rebringing family after 6 months outstay

Hi QL friends,

Good day.

Please guide me...

I got RP for my wife in last year and extended for 2 more years (upto 2015). She gone to my native in December for delivery and I got my child last month. Based on her health condition it is not possible to bring her here within 6 months from her exit.

Some of my friends informed me about the fine for the extended stay. My questions are,

1. Do I have to pay this fine within 1st 6 months from her exit or just before her entry?

2. I am planning to bring her during my 30 days vacation at the end of this year. In that case, shall I pay this fine just before I start my vacation? or I can pay with my friends at the end of my vacation (since I will be india at that time)?

Thanks in advance for all your clarifications...

Hi myid66 and equalhrc for your valuable inputs.

Now I got cleared with the fine system. I am planning to get this return visa just 2-3 days before my vacation and I need to shorten my vacation to 10-14 days. I think that will be the only solution if I want to bring my family with me.

@myid66 & equalhrc, regarding my child visa, do I need to attach all the documents which I had attached during RP application of my wife? or is it enough if I apply with both of our RPs only?

You can have return visa before completion of 1 year stay outside the country by paying Qr:500. This return visa is valid for 14 days. There is no fine system and you dont need to pay before 6 months. This can be paid anytime before completion of 1 year but you must bring your family before 14 days(before expiry of return visa).

I am not sure about that 3rd party can do this on behalf of you since I have done myself.

You need make PP and a visa for your kid as well.

Hope this will be helpful.
