Hi ,

I have secured Visit Visa for my wife and I extended up to six month which is April 2013, but I want to go to india for my brother’s wedding. Can I get re – entry for visit visa, I heard that I can pay 200 QAR and I can get re-entry for Visit Visa at immigration . I will appreciate if anybody confirm this

Techn is right. But before leaving the country, you need to take exit permit from the immigration office near to airport. Only 10 riyals :).

It is possible you have to go to immigration office and just tell that over the counter, they will take the money and do the necessary changes. I did this for my wife when she was on visit visa to go to Dubai.. But I have not used the facility due to some other reason. So please verify with the immigration as to what Is your real requirements. They told me it is called 1 travel extension or something like that..
