Re-entry ban in Qatar

Hi friends,

I left Qatar in June 2007. But my visa was not cancelled when I left Qatar. My work visa got expired in March 2008. Its been 4 years I am out of Qatar. Now, I got a new job in Qatar and the company has provided me with Work Visa. Will there be any problems while entering Qatar as my previous visa was not cancelled? Kindly advise.

regards,

 Kamal

No problem for you to come back and no fines to pay. Its been almost 4 years and the visa was automatically cancelled after 6 months from your last departure in Qatar. And besides your previous sponsor cannot renew your visa since your passport is with you. There's also no need for NOC. You already served the 2 year ban. But be sure that before going for finger printing, tell your PRO that you previously worked in Qatar and had a working visa before so the immigration will not get confused on your fingerprint records. Sometimes, you dont need to go for fingerprint. The immigration will use your previous record. Your residence ID number will be the same as your previous one. (Take it from me. I had the same situation last 2009) :-)

that actually gave intelligant answers to questions.

Kamal, you have been gone for 4 years. Your visa would have automatically cancelled after 6 months of you being gone anyway, OR most probably your previous company would have cancelled it.

You DO NOT need an NOC, as you have been out of the country for 4 years.

You will not have any problems, especially since it would seem like your visa has been issued without any problems.

For all these questions, contact the company's HR department and they will answer your questions.

You can come back on new visa but when you go to stamp ur residence they the immigration will ask for NOC from the previous sponsor cos ur old visa is still valid you hve to cancel the visa.....or take NOC from previous sponsor....when they stamp ur new visa your visa number will never change you will get the same number,it is a net work all ur document is in their system.....the visa what you hve is a entry visa......after you do your medical finger print and when it goes to immigration it will be held up....or you hve to pay fine.......good luck.

if the new company have already provide you with the work visa, then seems to be no problem at all, well in fact they wont be able to provide you with this type of visa if any issues are existing.Welcome Back.
