As per the Qatar Labour Law Article 73, the working hours must be maximum 6 hours only. It does'nt mentioned if it is only for muslims. It means the said article is for all.

This is to respect the Muslims by the non-muslims.

why dont u convert to islam, then this law will be applicable to all of u! i suppose having worked here for as long as u did u got an idea about what truly islam is and have all the misconceptions cleared out! have a little thought about it u have nothing to lose and plenty to gain ! just look to all the converts in the world it could not be a coincidence that no matter what islam is the world`s fastest growing religion....

Depending on the profession,as per your profession Nurse, normally non muslims are expected to work little extra than muslim colleagues just to support them in fsating and some places you get compensated by Over time and some departments give extra off, depnds on your head

everyone can enjoy the shortened hours of work during ramadan...which is more superior the LAW or a company's policies? obviously the law of the land should prevail if not then the law loses it's power and would become useless.

The LAW says,

the working hours for 6 hours is applicable for all.

but most of the companies exercise this for Muslims only and non muslims work for 7 or 8 hours maximum and overtime after that.

As far as i know, YES..Even non muslims can avail the restricted timings for work during RAMADAN..However it solely on the discretion of the company whether they wish to provide half or full day working for their staffs..

I am not a MOSLEM but i had worked for only 6hrs during ramadan in my ex-companies...
