question with visa

hi I have a friend who just arrived in Doha over a month ago and didn't realize that in her passport it was stated that she has to report at the Expatriates Affairs Department within a month of arrival to Qatar.

She has a working visa until august.

What she need to do next....Please help your info will be grateful.

but she hasn't she had contacted the person in charge and still waiting. is it a problem or not?

Please take note that the 1 month stamped in her passport is the period when she is supposed to go for reconfirming her arrival and that within this period she could have gone to her medical and fingerprints.

Many thanks, Is it a problem that she hasn't contacted the Expatriates Affairs Department and she has been here for over a month? and it stated in her passport that she has too, though her visa is expire on August.

She needs to contact her HR department and they will do the necessary paperwork. Alternately go to the pasport and immigrations department and find out how to proceed. Normally her sponsoring company will do the needful including medical tests, finger printing, processing residence permit etc..

she should speak to her HR personnels of her office, otherwise she can go to labour department.
