Procedures and formalties for getting on arrival in dubai

I am an Electrical Engineer and currently worked in Doha Qatar. I would like to visit dubai on October 2013. Could you please inform me the necessary procedures or formalties for getting an on arrival visa. Any additional documents required other than passport with Qatar Visa.

its 3 months for UAE for all other countries its 6 month

last time they told me that the Qatar RP should have been six months completed and valid for more than 3 months

If you have Engineer as Profession in your RP. Your Qatar's RP is valid for more than 3 months. You can get an Online arrival visa for 185 dirham valid for 30 days. For better info, visit flydubai office.
