Hi,

Can somebody give me an advice regarding my visa issue?

I was given a release by my first employer and they signed a transfer of sponsorship to my current employer now(though the validity of my RP from 1st employer is until March of this year). Been working here for almost 4 months now and they haven't had my sponsorship transferred yet. I keep asking my current employer about the status of my visa which they keep saying that it is still under process and my documents has been submitted to the Labor Office for visa/sponsorship transfer).

Recently, I get a better offer from a different company and would like to withdraw my documents from my current employer but they refused to give me my papers as they said that it is already been processed. And is asking me to submit my passport for visa stamping. (Well, after 4 months!)

Now, my questions are:

1. Is it true/ or any possibility that my visa has been completely processed even though my passport doesn't have the visa stamp yet?

2. Would it still be possible to withdraw my documents to my current employer so I could give it to the new company that offered me a better opportunity?

3. How can i check if my visa/sponsorship has been completely transferred and is now working under the sponsorship of my current employer?

4. Is there any chance or way that I can retrieve my documents from the Labor Office and cancel the transfer made (if ever they really submitted it) by my current employer?

Please enlighten me regarding this matter.

Thanks in advance QL!

Its very complicated, I don't want to write much about it but fact is that your First company gave you the NOC for your current company, so it depend on them to withdraw your docs and cancel the process.

So my advice is that you be nice with your current company and ask them politely to leave you and cancel the process, mean time keep your previous sponsor in hand so that if your plan work then you can go to your previous company and ask for NOC of change sponsorship to the one you got offer letter from.

Also please note, don't trust on my words as I am only saying it from the on going facts going in Qatar.

Try to approach labour department OR MOI ( not sure which is dealing in sponsorship change ), also take your Passport and see if you can do something about it.

Wish you good luck.
