Passport Renewal holding Tourist visa

Can anybody with guidence or advice,One of my friend wife is arriving Doha on Tourist visa can she renew her passport over here,she is holding a Indian passport cos her passprt is renewed in doha before if she renewed in india it will take a long time cos now these days u require police clearance.And the cost of making passport will be too expensive,since her passport is getting expired in the month of july............thanks

Can she get out of the country when her Tourist visa is stamp on the old passport, and secondly on the visa it is mentioned one month stay some are saying it is valid for 28days..........can u please me the right answer..............thanks

Yes passport can be renewed here even if you are on visit visa but i have heard that now a days, Indian embassy is also taking 45 to 60 days here.

Can't confirm as i am a Pakistani and don't need to go to Indian Embassy for my passport renewal LOLZ!!!!!!

Yes sir, her passport is valid more than six month I mean can she renew when she come here,she will be travelling in the mid of Dec.2010......thanks

my friend,

you'll get different answers from different people...its best u call the indian embassy and check it out...its not a complicated question so u should get an immediate answer.

I thought tourist visa requires a 6 month passport validity.?
