newborn baby sponsorship
Can anybody help?
I am delivering our baby here in Doha within this month or next.
I still do not have concrete information as to newborn baby's sponsorship. My case is that my husband's salary does not meet the requirement, but mine does. Can I sponsor my baby instead? If so, can anybody who has the same experience as mine tell me the process? I would really appreciate receiving your responses to this question.

Hello, did you get the RP of your baby after you delivered? From whom he/she is sponsored by? from you or from your husband? Because I am going to deliver on January 2013 and we are worried for getting our baby's RP. I am not under my husband sponsorship and his salary did not meet to get a family sponsorship. But I holding an RP of Engineer and I am under my company's sponsorship, is there any chance to keep her here with us?
anilbabu is correct. If you are not under the Sponsorship of your husband it will be difficult to get the RP of your child. If you are under his Sponsorship a combined Salary certificate will help. I know a Filipino couple who are still trying to get the RP done for their new born baby.
If ur in ur Husbands sponsorship then u cant sponsor your would be. If ur sponsorship is different frm ur husbands then u can sponsor ur baby.

I delivered my first baby here as well and I wanted to sponsor her but Immigration refused as my husband is here and working. they said that in Qatar, the father is the guardian of the newborn regardless of his salary range. the mother can only sponsor the baby if the father's RP is cancelled or if he is not a resident here in Qatar.
