Hi! I was just left my previous job in doha. I resigned, means I did not finish my contract. They gave me NOC. Before I leave Doha I was applied in other company. When I got home here in Philippines. the new company advise me to send the original copy of my NOC. I send it thru LBC and I spend PHP 2,500. According to them they need it so that they can process a new visa for me. unfortunately they've lost my NOC the reason why they cannot pursue on processing Visa for me. I've waited for so long and stil i cant come back to doha. more than 1 year out of doha. if they didn't lost my NOC i might find some other company in doha and they can process a visa for me if I still have my NOC. what can I do. can i file a case for the company who lost my NOC?

KABAYAN since you have spent more than one year outside in doha, just wait several months and there is no problem to come back in Doha without NOC....six months without NOC base on the current qatar labor law is impossible to come back....

Thanks!I actually left my company due to not properly giving my benefits, incentives, unorganized rules of the company and the attitude of my bosses. no need to mention their names. it means that its difficult to talk to them asking some favors. I actually tried to ask a new one. but they want me to pay QR 5000. dont know why. they are going to spend only 1 sheet of paper, ink and a signature. thats it, but they want me to pay that amount. anyway just want to confirm if 6 months out of Doha is enough to go back?there might someone from you knows. all replies will be truly appreciated. thanks to you fellows..!!!

kabayan, why don't you try obtaining NOC again from your previous employer so you can pursue your dream to come back to doha and work again?

I am sorry for you. I am not familiar with dealing with NOCs, but is it something which your old company can issue again? In that case you can approach them to issue a new one. Or if it is issued by the government you can apply for a new one by submitting the photocopy of the old one. Hope it helps.
