Medical records for authentification
Hello everyone! What are the procedures to have your medical records/certificate attested and notarized here in Qatar? The medical and laboratory tests are done here in Qatar (Doha Clinic) but its in English. These records are needed to acquire visa in another country.I hope someone can help me,spent the day asking Ministry of Justice for notarials, nobody was able to explain me just telling me to go to Foreign Affairs.I am having my certificate translated in Arabic but is that all they need?I appreciate any help...thank.
Went today and you guys were right, they didn't ask for Arabic translation but they sent me to Chamber of Commerce to have it stamped.Apparently, the one who signed my medical report was not the one they considered as official signatory.I went back to Doha Clinic and asked for that only person allowed to sign official documents, guess what? He was not there and now am waiting to have my documents back so I can re bring them again to Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If they notarized it in arabic translation, do they notarized also the english version? if not, then the english version will be useless. what if the country who required to you need the english translation and not the arabic translation?, definitely if its english country, they will not understand the arabic one. i went also in MOFA for the attestation of my documents and they did not told me to translate my documents in arabic, all they need is to attested first by my embassy before they will attested it.
Thanks all, I appreciate the replies! I was told the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not authenticate documents unless translated in Arabic,I know it doesn't make sense as am using it in another country.I was even told to have it verified/attested in the Supreme Court of Health before my embassy will notarize it.
Yeah, no need to have them translated.
Bring them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But be sure that your papers are already signed by the clinic and that the signatory there is recognized or in the list of the MFA-recognized signatories of that clinic. You will know that when you go there and have them attested. If all is well, I believe you'll pay Qr10 per document and thru debit/credit card.
if you will used that in another country, they need the english translation rather than the arabic translation.
