Medical and fingerprint for 6 months work visa?? (Not RP)
I just entered Qatar on following visa type- Work-Single Entry, Validity- 1 month
On arrival, at immigration they stamped "Bearer to approach specialized authorities within seven working days from the date of entry" just below the entry date stamp.
I have received a schedule for medical examination and later fingerprinting..
i checked on internet, and it looks like this is a process for RP.
i enquired in my company if the are processing for my RP.. They said NO. And said that it is a 6 month work visa, and not an RP..
Is this true guys??? will this need a medical and fingerprinting too???
Also on my medical test form, the application type is written as "Work Residence"
so please tell me guys what type of visa this is.
P.S. Before this, i used to work on visa type- Work-Business, validity- 1 month (Extendebaly to 3 months without medical/fingerprinting)
Relax and let your company worry about the process.
Even if someone lives here on visit visa for more than 1 month, has to go through this process so i think yes you have to do all this
