My husband has applied for family visa(RP) for us.. we are in india now but the process is taking time ..is it possible tht he can cancell the visa application and apply for visit visa for us..please answer its urgent

Actually the application got deferred due to more docs.Additional docs has been submitted but still the status not changed.So we wanted to get visit visa atleast as its urgent..

If your family visa is under process it will not be possible to apply for a visit visa.
