It is not essential. I know people who had valid visa for saudi and still they could enter in Qatar.

you can only have 1 valid GCC residence visa, you need to cancel your UAE visa. "not ready to cancel visa" is the meaning of you want to break a contract/abscond. wait 4 month before your contract finishes, apply for jobs and get your uae residence canceled in time to get your entry visa to qatar.
