Good day! Can anyone help me or give some information?I have the same problem with sara81. I only got a family visit visa for my husband and son. I worked at hmc and gave me approval but the moi refuse to give residence visa for my son. I applied it when they are still not here. But now, my husband and my son are already here in qatar. Also my husband got a job already but his working visa is still on the process. Do I need to apply again for residence visa for my son or is it better that my husband will be the one to sponsor my son? I'm really worried on this. Your information is very much appreciated.Thanks...

so her(Sara81) question now must be... will she able to bring her son, if her sponsor disagree on that? coz according to Sara, her sponsor refused? now does she needs his approval?

with a RP. She does not work for the gov't. She's not a manager...just a grunt like most of us.

Doesn't she need her sponsors approval to bring her son on Permanent Residence Visa?

then this is a rule against the basic human rights. What kinda rule is it that you cannot bring your infant specially for a mother.

if he is older than 18 than thats another story

Not must general manager or director. normal employee can do too.

sara81 can get here get her RP and then apply for her son who will be under her sponsor the company doesnot have to do anything with her son they only mean her.

what is the rule if the son is a toddler even then you cannot sponsor your son?

An expat woman cannot sponsor her son and even husband on Family Residence Visa, unless if she is working at HMC or Ministry of Interior. She can only provide family visit visa to her son and husband.

Sara81, its not because your sponsor dont want you to bring your son on Iqama(RP)visa. He just telling you based on Immigration Current Law and not his will.

But if your husband is in Qatar, then things would be easy for you.

what exactly is the question?

1) You cannot bring your little son to the nursery where you would be working?

2) You cannot bring your son to the residence/hose where you will be living?

3) You cannot bring your son under your sponsorship?

So can you kindly tell sara81 what is your question

sara81 if he is telling you that you cannot bring your little son to Qatar then I suggest that you dont work for that piece of crab*. By the way who the hell is he to interfere in your personal life?

Even if you do bring your son without informing that bast*** he will find out sooner or later.
