International Driving Permit
I am on a visit visa in Qatar and I hold an International Driving Permit issued from Pakistan. So, am I allowed to drive here?
From the following link, I am perceiving like I can drive up to 6 months from the date of entry. Would be very thankful if you can guide me on the matter.

So, is it the correct source I referred to in the above link?
I mean if someone asks me, can I refer the above link that here I read this?
Ad, .......... You are welcome .......... you can drive with pleasure ..........................
But believe it is the opposite of what you said based on the following statement extracted from link I provided.
"In general, temporary and international licence holders are restricted to driving rental vehicles as insurance companies require drivers of privately-owned vehicles to hold a full licence."h
I believe that you can drive a rental car. For private cars you have to clear with insurance company
