Dear QatarLiving Members,

I Would Like To Seek Your Knowledge About Visa Issues. The Thing Is That I'm Still Holding A Valid Qatari Residential Permit And I Really Do Want To Keep It, But I Am An International Student Pursuing A Doctoral Program in The United States. Is There Any Way That Can Enable Me Visit Qatar Only Once Per Year Instead of Visiting Qatar Every 6 Months. Incase This Is Possible, What Documents Should I Apply To The Qatari Officials During My Next Visit To Qatar. Thank You Very Much, Your Support Is Highly Appreciated!

when i still had my residence permit in qatar i spent almost 1 year and 6 months in the US when i came back to qatar they made me pay the 100USD fee (because i'm an american citizen) for the 30 day visit visa just to enter. upon my arrival my RP was still considered valid. the problem is no matter what after 6 months you have to pay a fee for reentering the country.
