After I get my RP, I would like to call my mother for a visit visa.

What should I be earning to sponser her? And what are the documents required?

Kindly advise.

Get your mother's passport copy along with your passport copy to the immigration counter located next to the airport. You would have to fill out two forms and then see the captain, once he approves... You can bring her down from 15days and then later on extend it.

1. A letter from your office with ur salary details and more important the letter should be addressed to the immigration dept. if not they will not accept...this is a common mistake done here.

2. your passport and rp copies....hopefully ur mothers name is on your passport.

3. your mothers passport copies.

4. go to immigration dept. and get a form typed by the people(typists) outside thats it.

5. Remember the person manning the counter will sometime ask u for documents or attestations but to my knowledge they are not required in such a case dont panic try speaking to a supervisor to solve ur problem or a better trick is just take a fresh coupon and stand in line in another counter....works for me each time.

My company is small and just starting Qatar operations. So it does not have a PRO. I will have to do the arrangements and paper work for calling my mother myself.

So can someone kindly advise on the documents needed and the procedure?

Give the mother's passport copy to your company PRO and he will do the rest.
